Our history
Chaffee & Associates began in 2005 when our founder, Rick, used his 35 years of experience to create his own family office. Rick’s career began in 1970, but his experience in finance runs deep. He is of the fourth generation in his family to work in the financial service industry. The first two generations – his great grandmother and aunt – were women. Rick followed in his family’s footsteps when he attended Franklin College and got his degree in Economics, then earned advanced degrees in Financial Services and Executive Development. After decades of working in the financial industry, Rick took the step to create his own firm.
Chaffee & Associates formally opened its doors in 2005, and for 20 years now has worked alongside its clients. We pride ourselves in our trademarks of loyalty to clients, innovative processes, and adaptability. With many clients, we have developed lasting relationships which span decades and have served in advisory roles as their lives have progressed. Our personalized processes allow us to pinpoint the greatest opportunities for growth and security.
